Gender of the patient

Does the patient have lumbar or dorsal pain at night?

Does the patient have morning stiffness with lumbar or dorsal pain?

Does the patient have an asymmetrical oligoarthritis?

Does the patient have pain in the buttocks?

Does the buttock pain alternate between left and right sides?

Does the patient have a sausage-like toe or finger?

Does the patient have heel pain or other well-defined enthesiopathic pain?

Does the patient have iritis?

Did the patient experience nongonococcal urethritis within 1 month prior to the onset of arthritis?

Did the patient experience nongonococcal urethritis or cervicitis within 1 month prior to the onset of arthritis?

Does the patient have a history of psoriasis?

Does the patient have a history of balanitis?

Does the patient have a history of inflammatory bowel disease (ulcerative colitis or Crohn's disease)?

Did the patient experience acute diarrhea within 1 month prior to the onset of the arthritis?

Does the patient show HLA-B27 on HLA typing?

Does the patient have a family history of ankylosing spondylitis, reactive arthritis, uveitis, psoriasis or inflammatory bowel disease?

Did the patient show a clear-cut clinical improvement within 48 hours of starting NSAID therapy?

Did the patient experience a rapid relapse of symptoms on discontinuation of NSAID therapy?
