Criteria for Post-Irradiation Bone Sarcoma

Does the patient have a bone tumor demonstrated to be a sarcoma on histology?

Is the tumor arising in an area previously irradiated?

What was the dose of radiation applied to the area?

Was the area of bone which received radiation normal or affected by a benign condition, as documented on histology or imaging studies?

What was the interval between the radiation exposure and the onset of the bone tumor?

Was the interval period for the most part symptom free?

Has the patient had a known or suspected exposure to a known carcinogen (other than the radiation)?
