Are other family members affected in an autosomal dominant pattern of inheritance?

Is the patient of South African descent?

Did symptoms first appear during adulthood?

Does the patient show abnormal movements (Parkinsonism, dysarthria, tremor, hyperreflexia, chorea, etc)?

Has the patient developed depression, apathy, irritability. psychosis, or other emotional disorder?

Has the patient developed a cognitive impairment?

Has the patient had an unexplained weight loss?

Does an MRI of the brain show atrophy of the caudate and cerebral cortex?
